Located on a prime lot near Telluride's Gondola Station, 205 South Oak is a designated Historic Structure that won a Town of Telluride award in 2009. The project’s scope included a historic remodel of the main house, as well as an addition, resulting in a total of three units encompassing approximately 9,000 s.f.
Finbro Construction skillfully raised the historic home to install a basement and foundation while maintaining the historic siding and the structure. The project was completed under budget and Finbro Construction was recognized by the Town of Telluride with an Award for Excellence in Rehabilitation and Restoration.
The project, designed by Tommy Hein Architects, includes three townhomes that are between 2,500 and 4,000 s.f. with high-end finishes, plaster and wood floors throughout, as well as a subterranean level that is 22 feet below grade. Sales prices on the units in 2014-2015 ranged from approximately $2.5 million to $3.1 million, with one unit showing a 33% increase in value over a four-year period from 2015 to 2019.
