The historic residential "Bleak House" and adjoining sheds were restored and fully renovated in 2015. The historic structure was lifted and moved to add a foundation and basement with a significant addition added to the alley side of the lot. The historic walls had been insulated with Denver Post newspapers dating back to the late 1890s. The project was designed by local Narcis Tudor Architects; all historic guidelines and the Preservation Plan were closely monitored by the town.
The completely restored 2,500 s.f. home, located in the Historic Residential block of Telluride’s west main street, is a private residence.
